Gedie
I've this SPS for nearly 2months now. what i've found is i can see at the lower part of the coral where it is under the shadow of the top branches it start to bleach very very slow about 1/2 cm in one month I don't know should i frag it or leav it like that as this SPSl is pretty big i can not place it where it can get100% light. Do you think the bleching will stop soon? or it will spread up to the top branches where it is doing fine now. actually i don't wanna frag if it no need, as it is quite in a good shape now. Please recommend, I will try to take the photo of that area if i can. Thank you
lightningstrike
use superglue on the bleached area. else frag it. tuan
Is the tissue receeding from the bottom (but not bleaching where the tissue remains but lose it's colour and turning white)? Quite commonly, if all other params are correct, then it's due to inadequate flow at the base of the coral and so not bringing the polyps enough food. Watchout also for detritus settling on these area as it may start bacterial infection and algae growth.
Gedie
Thank you all i think the water movement at the base is not the problem I'll try the super glue method will see how it work
