hi chey42, it is so kind of you trying to save the seahorse by giving it away.

Sorry I can't help you, I am worried that a sick seahorse may spread diseases to my current tank mates. I won't want to take the risk.

do you want to give a try to cure it? if so, maybe you can tell us the problems and see if anyone here can assist?

some seahorses behave this way when newly bought. It could be a sign of stress due to transportation or environmental change.

try to get it to eat (if posiible provide live shrimp to tempt it). If it starts eating, it should get better and become more active.

and pls remove it from the small fighting-fish container. Return it back to the tank for better water circulation and space moment.

I would go for refugium bcos the seahorse will not be able to compete for food in the main tank with other fishes. You may need to target feed with patience.

i only have 2 cleaners and a dragonet in my main tank ... mainly shroom and some softies in my main ... so is it ok to keep in my main ... :D
