Do I use a fan or a chiller???

do i use fans to cool down my water or a chiller to cool down instead....my friend sae tt fan dosent work in reef tank cause it only cools down to 27 degree.....BTW wat is the temperature needed for sps to live healthily???

If you are serious about SPS, you will definitely need a chiller because the MH is going to boil your tank water.

<27°C. Occasional 28°C is OK as long as it's not for long. The most important thing is to have stability and only a big chiller or a lot of water can provide that.

will my sps die if the temp of my water is 25 then jump up to 28 then back to 15 again??
