anyone using seachem raise mag??

hmm anyone know y?? yesterday i test out the mag in my water it was 1200 so i decided to add seachem raise mag to raise it but then today after checking again, the mag level in the water is still 1200.... anyone know y??? Am having a 3 by 1.5 by 2 feet tank wit a 2 by 1.5 by 1.5 feet sump.... i Add like 2 mountain full spoon of the sea chem raise mag using a plastic spoon and add it into the top off water disolve it and pour it into the sump..... is there a prob wit wat am doing or my test kit is giving me prob??? am using tropic marine ca and mg test kit..... would appreciate if someone can tell me wat when wrong thanzzz

you try read the instruction for dosing, I think you dose too little.
