any one keeping any garden eels

Hi all

Was wondering if any of you folks out there are keeping any garden eels

If yes, what do you feed them with ?

ya i have 2 garden eels in my 4 ft..so far one is not shy and appear often whereas the other only appear once in a blue moon....up to now i m still not sure what they feed on..however i heard from henry that they feed on floating plantons....gd luck for your garden eels bro

They basically need a very deep sandbed of around 12"

I know of a reefer here who has them feeding on cyclops

Garden Eels should also be fed with Zooplankton occasionally.

I have a Garden Eel in my 6" dsb sump / refugium.

It feeds of zooplanktons and pods.

I dun really get to see it much as it is very shy and resides in a area in the sump that is block from my view unless, I squeeze my head between the sump and cabinet.

Garden Eels are always shy & timid creatures.

one thing i would also like to find out is tat will the garden eel dig anywhere in the tank like wat common moray does and resulting in the mess up of sand bed and rock works?

they quite static, so far in my tank and they dun mess up the sand that much
