hi, i saw this wave box preforming in person three days ago at iwarna while they setting up another tank for just sps only n i must say its pretty impressive. i guess this excellent wave maker works well in a side or better still both side ios tank.... :P

this topic silent for exactly for 2nths hehe, hmm kinda interested to put in my 5ft. but onli top n bottom brace, stil tinkin shld or shldnt i get it

Just wanna be sure,,,will be disastrous it the seams of the tank fails or the oscillation of the water in the tank swaying causing problems for the tank.

A well made tank should last a good 10 yrs.

how to tell its a "well-made" tank? Can only tell after ten years right? :lol:

I pay money and i mean good money to get a proper tank done, so don't tell me about heng sway...cos if it goes (w/o the wave box) i will definitely go after the tank maker ! hehe

What do you think? Like nim75sg I spend money on companies or LFS with good track records and will not "swayed" away problems like some LFS does...

Even though there are quite a few companies carrying Tunze, who do you think i will get it from?

Ok let me continue... I sold my Wavebox after 1 week... find it too noisy... the water splashing sound is extremely natural... like waves but can be quite annoying if it goes on and on and on :lol:

Ok thats one bad point about it, i like tunze stream but find it too big and obtrusive...so thought wavebox might hide it better...hmmm...wonder if the nano stream is ok, a few weeks ago nearly bought it together with a friend - but now wait and see first...

Just to check for those who using the Tunze wavebox do u have problem like the pump just stop functioning and the transformer and driver just got heated up. and got to change the driver and transformer. What causes this ???

Did you purchase your wavebox just recently? There's been a number of cases reported on this with the newer batches apparently. Might wanna check back with the place you bought it from.

Others that have been using the wavebox previously have not had much issues. I just choose to take it that the latest batch is faulty.
