SRC Member hotlemond Posted May 27, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted May 27, 2005 In the days of freshwater fish keeping, they net the fish out to remove the worm and apply fish anticeptic/antibiotic, but needs careful hands. Next best thing is to get medicine lor.

chinhun
so is there any serious problem?
mantis
I think it's having "stringing excretion" and this means the fish is having some kinda of disease....probably of the digestive tract.....can't remember the precise nature of the disease though. But I certainly won't buy a fish with "stringing excretion".
SRC Member Kelmen Posted May 30, 2005 SRC Member Share Posted May 30, 2005 Well, that's "stringy feces". From what I read, it can be due to intestine parasites. Some suggest Pipzine to cure it. I'm having that problem too, but can't find that product. Using some "self-claimed" stuff, yet to observe the result.
