Team Building Competitions

Bros out there... Help!!! I have been tasked to organise some team building competitions in my company. Nothing fanciful, things that have been organised b4 are t-shirt design competitions, best agar-agar competitions etc.

Ran out of ideas, can anyboby help give some ideas?

Is it a department versus department sort of competition?

Or staff just form the team they want and enter the competition?

Yup... agree with ervine, you have to let us know what is the objective to achieve, how the competition is arranged (E.g. grouping, outside company time, expected duration?)... etc..

One easy way is to look at you company values... for example, if your company talks about recycling as part of its values, you can consider "using recycled products" to make a raft, something or whatever....

Thanks bros for the replies. My team mate have come out with some ideas.

Its basically a dept against dept competition.

Jus a few person per team to let them work together and no specific rules so long as it gives them a chance to work together and produce some things to compete e.g t-shirt design comp. etc.

if you can maybe make the competition related to your line of work? for eg. for us architecture students one competition was to build a tower with straws, tallest wins...
