White 'spots' On Live Rock...and Tank Glass

I notice there are some white spot- like thingy on my live rocks...about 1mm big each and some curl up like worm. But none moving...what are they?

Also...i occasionally see white membrane-like thingy on my tank glass...it looks like transparent membrane with little white dots in it. I tried rubbing them off...and seems like they are quite hard and stick firmly on the glass. After a few days they disappear..then they appear again else where... :rolleyes:

Can someone enlighten me?
