HDB Window Inspection

Am looking for someone to inspect my HDB windows. Was originally told that the windows in Sengkang are all stainless steel, hence no need for inspection.

However, I understand that a certificate is needed to prove it. Anyone knows a contractor or is a contractor from SRC who can facilitate this?

if it is stainless steel rivets no need inspection!!

dont get con by those so call inspector!! if u call for a contractor chances are he will tell u need to change this or that. My neighbour kana and ended up spending $200++

if u can, go to the HDB website and download the form. It says that the cert is certified that the contractor has change the rivets for u. Not to certified all the rivets in your house are stainless steel. alot of people has already kana cheated liao.

I think first should check with HDB area office whether your block is or is not affected by the ruling as new flats or upgraded flats after Yr2000 is supposed to be ok. In case you change windows when you get your flat then I think you better check with HDB and contractor.

Check with HDB is the best then don't have to waste money.
