Soft coral SETUP

Started a soft coral tank recently, and would like to know the following stuffs if the softies pro in SRC would gladly be able to help!!! :rolleyes:

1. What kind of addictive to add besides the basic ones

2. Flowrate and preferable brand;model

3. Can i do w/o filtration but instead religious water change

1. basic ones??? u wld not hv to use additives if u perform regular religious water changes as u hv mentioned.

2. flowrate as in return flowrate??? this is dependent on ur tank size, turnover rate u wish to achieve, how much u r willing to spend, etc.

3. yes u can, soft corals r generally very hardy. regular water changes will do the trick.

What the about the use of the following tropic marine product?

Tropic Marin Pro-Coral Organic

Found it when i was visiting one of the LFS in clementi today.

The fact that seachem additives goes bad before i finish then I thought of using 'powdered' form of the similar product, since it wouldn't go bad as long as i keep it dry. B)
