Wow, amazing how a tiny piece like that can work. I've just modified my current return pipe and tweaked the ball valve in my sump. So at the moment, it's pretty quiet. :whistle

But thanks so much for the tip! If the pipe starts making noises again, I'll incorporate your idea! ;)
