i believe especially for married couples, the love between them should overcome any political differences easily, or else why get married?

Hrmz, i believe nowadays the new generation couldn't care very much about politics and i definately do not think any couple will "break-up" over it. Like ah_d3x mentioned, most prople are proberbly not bothered. To some people, election day is just another chance to get a public holiday. Just my 2 cents.

sometimes, political choice is more than just a choice, but more of a reflection of values.

when one chooses a spouse, doesn't one choose a spouse with similar values so that childern can be brought up with similar values?

not taking into account those who support/dun support without thinking, those who take serious consideration in supporting or not supporting definitely have some diff in values don't you think?

Don't agree.

If I choose a spouse, I chose one with different view. Then, there is discussion and our children can grow up with diversed views. This will be better than all believing in one view and is oblivious to alternative views.

Embrace diversity. SDA, PAP, WP, SDP etc...all good in their little ways..some more good than others in some ways. But no one is better than the rest in every way.
