I'm having this problem for the past few days since the installation. The water in the CR is always milky. I have seen many CR and the water is very clear without much bubbles. could it be because of the bubbles?? mine seem like boiling water effect. my CO2 bubble count is 1 per sec and effluent is abt 40 drops per min. did i set any thing wrongly.. i connect the water inlet with feeding pump.

hmmm did u bleed the CR carefully while it was filling up with water?

oh wait...u haf 60bubbles per min and 40 drops/min??

try tuning down the bubble count

the general rule is drip rate should be faster than bubble rate

i think u haf too much co2 causing a slight melt down and the excess co2 is i beleive the bubbles u see

last time i ran 1 before i sold mine was 1 per 5secs?

my other friend runs it at 1 per 3sec

it hink 1 per sec is quite fast leh

tell u wat

u first try 10counts per min of bubbles

then measure your effluent ph

u know what's the value supposed to be right?

ph too low u decrease your bubble count

ph too high u increase the bubble count

ok will try to take the reading after an hour.. thanks..

i think got someone tell me can take only after a few hours...1 hour is too short a time considering the slow drip rate.

sooo....give it a few more hours to clear up

Bro, your effluent rate is way 2 slow, increase it to 3 drops per sec. To get the

correct DKH and calcium in your tank, just play with the bubble count, increase it

slowly and monitor the DKH in the tank.
