Corals shipments

IMO, nowadays corals shipment are getting lesser, boring same old same old and expensive. Do anyone know any shops or farm have nice ones with not ridicalous price? Prata selling for $120.....mad

Went to Hong Kong, the selections are wide and price are reasonable.

What are your opinions???

prata selling at $120 is normal.. it can even reach up till $300..

Try the one at Erricson Pet farm ...very reasonanable pricing...

Crazy price I just maintain whatever I have....This hobby is supposed to ease my nerves not give heart attack!!!!

yeah prices hv been going up ... remember not too long ago , prata cost only ard 40 ish even for a red one. still rem buying 2 frm eaquarists (at Siglap)...... that wasnt too long ago maybe just 3 yrs ago rite

Ya man!!! When I started, corals are so reasonable...now so ridicalous!! Im sure alot of ppl all got bored with the hobby. My good fren.....from keeping corals to a FOWLR. Nowadays if ask price I also scared.....

Also think that coral prices are getting a bit ex. But then again its cos we are willing to pay thats why prices are increasing. If not, the LFS would probably cut prices to keep the sales up.

even bus fare go up......"last time" pay 15 cents on feeder service..."now"??

It is raining and typhoon and moonsoon season. I at surabaya now and the LFS also like this. They say high wave and low visibility thus no shipment. So no gems and price is slightly higher here. Since Spore high demand, thus higher price...

I would not complaint abt the price if "last time" a coral eg prate cost $20 now $30-40. If the price jumps all the way to $120-300....if some of us are rich enough then you wont complaint then.

BTW bus price fare hike is nothing compare to corals price hike.... Also those who can affort to keep corals should not be complaining abt bus fare hike.

Oh rain rain go away plse bring back all the nice corals again

I think it has got something to do with supply side also... I mean... how much longer can we take advantage of the Indonesian waters... extracting all their natural beauties and let them barely survive (and most of the time perish) in our tiny little fish tanks? The more develop Indonesia is to be, the more expensive corals will become... and let's hope that the Indo government will not get so rich they ban exporting all together
