I'd like to get something like that for my next tank. I like the squarish look. You would have a lot of choices of aquascaping. It remind me of the display tank at W*t** C*****. The one behind the tall sea horse tank. In fact, I just came across an article, where this guy has a similiar tank. You might get some inspirations from there :)

The tank is best to be arranged so can be accessible and viewable from 3 sides, placement maybe in the centre of the room. The cabinet should not be competing with the tank. I would also prefer not to have the black rim around the tank. Lighting would be a challenge. No offence, just thinking aloud.

Congrate on a nice tank. Keep us posted on your progress.

Appreciate your comments Tango , ;) Yes, theres alot of aquascaping to move around with and this is the best part! :D I actually wanted a higher height and a view all round but space constraint left me to come up with this. Will definitely keep you guys posted about the progress to come. :D thanks again for your comments and the article. ;)

Hi Dr. Evil , ;) ...... I thought of using the Giesemann which not only caught my attention but also the slim and decorative design. I managed to speak with the local distributor here and he's checking out the availability and stock for me. I never really knew they had a 400W bulb for such deep tanks :whistle which is impressive to say the least. ;) Although my tank is not really that deep but the width is wide. You're right that I might have to get double sets at least. As for the chiller , I know I have to get the largest and I thought of reef relief for starters. Any opinions on what I should get and what I should avoid by reefers out there? Would certainly welcome your advise :D

Giesemann?? that a very expensive brand.............why dont go for DIY? much cheaper......u save atleast half the cost.

for the chiller, why not ask dr chill if the 1.25h/p is good enough for ur tank..........

at the look of it, u maybe spending close to 10k for this setup..........thats depends on what u are keeping.

if u want to save cost on the lightings, i maybe able to help.......... :D
