wat tang is that ? and how big is ur wrasse and tang ?

if it really keep pestering ur leopard and causing it to hide and not feeding.

it will be better for u to take it out and feed it for some time before adding it in. :D

Hope the rest can take note, nv add in any non-feeding fish into ur main tank which is full

of fishes.

If they can learn to eat and survive, it's good.

But most of the cases is that they will perish and starve to death with stress from the tankmates.

Be it a tang or six-line, the effect will be the same if it's not feeding and at times can also caused it to stop feeding.

Proper acclimation is very important.

Cheers. :D

tEc,Jun 24 2007, 10:17 PM] my tang is chasing after my Leopard wrasse in my tank. should i leave them alone? or should i take out the tang instead?

the leopard wrasse is bought 1 wk ago.

In a case where wrasse is quite difficult to catch, better to have yr tang "caged" up in a betta box in the main tank, or put the tang in yr sump tank first till yr leopard wrasse starts to feed and familiarise w the new environment.

tEc,Jun 26 2007, 10:00 PM] caught my tang out n put it in the sump liao. the wrasse is starting to eat. but another prob came. my fire goby is chasing after my purple goby now. weird fishes :heh:

Good move and happy to hear tt yr wrasse has started to come out to eat. Don't rush to put the tang back yet and let the wrasse get use to the environment longer and establish his little terrority.

fishes...no matter how shy they are...they need their own terrority...

if u put two nice gentle man together...with a piece of meat.

they will still fight over it.

that's why it's best not to add in new fishes at a huge quantity at one go.

instead u should acclimate properly and let the new addition get used to their new environment before u add in any other new fishes.

this way u wun be throwing money into the sea..

CHEERS.
