Dear all:

Well after 11/2 yrs into this hobby (by accident also)hand became itchy so decided to upgrade.

Thx to my "minister of home affair"(wife) support + encouragement we have decided to upgrade to 6fts.

After mths of planning and choosing the rite tank maker we at last got our project started.

I would like to take this opportunity to thx all those involved in helping to give advises/opinions.

Ill try to post as many pics as i can fr the beginning till my tank is fully cycled. Pls do share+advise/correct me if you notice anything wrong or that i can do better.

Sorry in advance if my reply if slow. This is due to work where it requires me to travel. So whenever i can get hold of computer ill log into src.

Despite 1yr++ there are still lots to learn.

Each mistake made means=picking up dead fishes=burned pocket.

But i never give up maybe bcos i learned to managed my expectation:no matter how good the system we have at home it can never beat the real home for fishes=ocean.

Lots of my colleauges gave up after few failure and its really scary cos that means bigger burn hole in pocket.

Another shot from the entrance of my house.

Test run the skimmer. Actually all the fixi of equipments were done by my tank maker-steve. I know nuts about fixi stuff. Really big fat zero in term of diy.

Jbj auto top off.

Used to manually poor h20 into sump and its so tiring. now with this equipment im sure it will be much easier.

Using distill h20 to top up.

Just order from this company brand call polar.

will tell more on that later stage.

previously i always buy distill h2o fr fairprize @ $0.65 per bottle(1.5lts) to top up my tank.

Good morning to all:

Well now i show the progress of the building of cabinet and tank arrival.

Only two of them worked on the cabinet-salute to this couple.

The stand came in 1st.

Than the body of the cabinet. Since its a partition tank the body will come in parts. We choose vinear(not too sure spelling)this time cos it can help to brighten up that area.

Again only two of them and the aunty told me she is almost 50. Age is catching up so she mite have to employ ppl in future.

Trust me the cabinet/structures are not light.
