Hermit Crab eat Anemonie???

I saw my anemonie sitting on my inverted hemit crab this morning. look like the hermit crab is eating the anemonie from below. Can that happen?? Could it be the anemonie was already dead b4 hermit crab start eating it?? pls help, waiting to pass judgement to the hermit crab responsible.

never known of hermit crab eating anemonie :blink::(:huh:

hermit crab is scavenger...eating all the left over food or fish waste ;)

maybe you should try feeding more food...slightly more food...so that there is some leftover for the hermit crab :ph34r:

They are different. The ones on the beach can't survive for prolonged periods underwater.
