SRC Member Reefaholic Posted November 28, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted November 28, 2007 IMO, all epoxy are the same n do not matter which brand. They cannot hold corals unless its seated on directly. Furthermore they are not cheap. You can spent 1 full tube of epoxy yet still cannot hold the coral. IMO, super glue gel is the best, effective and cost less. Consider one cost $4 as compared to epoxy cost 4 times more. I have forgone all epoxy already. Agree. 3/4 or less a tube (S$1.2 or so) can glue a table colony of palm size horizontally if you are skillful 1 tube can glue more than 10 frags easily
gny
I'm using this for some time already, and it meet my expectation. As mention, if it gives off mucus like substance, it will not stick well. Also need to ensure the coral you wanted to stick does not topple when placement. If it topple under its weight, epoxy 'holding' power is limited & it will not work.... SRC Member speakerphone Posted December 6, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted December 6, 2007 May I say, you must know how to use when come to epoxy. especially the wet and dry parts. Aquaz's never used before, so no comment. I used Aquapharm rockbonder to scape my rockworks. So well So good!
