how to transfer livestocks to another tank?

hey, i gg to downgrade current 3 ft tank to 2 ft tank with sump.. how to transfer the livestocks?

Tank haven come yet so do i have to transfer it to another spare tank to remove the 3 ft tank..

So anyone can advise on what to do? Do i transfer the water and sand too?
