i juz wan2 ask if any bro is able to keep cheatos using juz those small submersible LED lights? is 5W sufficient? thks

oh.. ok... ya.. i know a lot of fellow reefers using those energy saving lamp... but i wan2 try juz running a small LED into the sump... mine is a nanocube... thus.. i dun wan2 make things look too messy... there's also too little space...

Not sure if it will be bright enough to grown cheatos... ..

Like others said...I would suggest using an energy saving bulbs...

If u have space constrains.. use the smallest available ones.

hi.. all... i'm still tryin to find those submersible LEDs.. cant seems to find them at the LFS i went to... they mainly sell submersible halogen light which r yellowish... of lower Kelvin... i'm aware that chaeto can grow with those lights but at a slower rate... i dun wan my chaeto's growth to be slowed down... so will continue to search for the LEDs first... anyone can advice me where to get?

ya... like i say... mine is a nanocube... i cant fit in those energy saving lamps without removin my hood... the other alternative is to peel the black sticker behind... but i guess i wouldnt look nice on the entire set up... kinda messy...
