Keeping sea horse

Hi guys,

Regarding keeping of sea horse, I got a few questions for the gurus here:

1) SH can be kept in a community tank or have to be kept on it's own separate tank?

2) Can SH be kept alone? If it has to be in larger quantities?

3) What if a SH in a community tank doesn't eat the frozen brine scrimps? Any remedies?

:thanks:

1. Best keep alone in group of 2 to 4.

2. Buy those already farm breeded and feeding on frozen Mysis. Confirm with dealer bebore buying else you are buying dead seahorses....as well from TCM.

Would also like to know if it is true that to keep Seahorse:

1) Have temp of the tank at 24 degrees and below

2) Have a deeper tank, i.e at least 2.5ft or more
