Just bought 2 banner butterfly yesterday, and i realised that they are pecking on the LR and sand bed.

Anyone know the natural diet of these fishes?

Banner fish also butterfly fish family, behaivour is similar. Favourite diet coral. However this species is the hardiest to keep. Ops sorry except hte brown banner fish.

butterflie's natural food for sure la coral.. but in tanks, somtimes consume flakes..

hard to keep bcos easy to get sick especially white spots..

Are you referring to the bannerfish? Its one of the easier butterfly fish to keep from what i know. Generally should accept typical marine aquarium food like frozen mysis shrimp.

its also know as high fin banner fish. not easy to keep cos very prone to white spot. had a few without success my current one still getting on alright manged to eat pellets and is fighting with the tangs for food.
