Advise and recommedation for KH and Cal

Recommended Posts

Bros,

I did a test on the NSW for KH and Calcium only. PH did not test.

Kh is 6dh (measure with Tetra test kit)

Cal is 320ppm (measure with salifert kit)

Is the idea range for KH is 8dh - 10dh, and cal 400ppm - 450ppm?

How should i raise both KH and Cal? Any brand to recommend.

Anyone could advise and recommend.

thanks

bro, thanks for the reply.

shld i deal with the kh first or Ca?

NSW naturally has lower Kh. I'm using Seachem Reef Builder to maintain my Kh, and Brightwell Aquatics Elemental to maintain Ca.

Can to water changes to reduce the Kh gradually.

Anyone know how to deal with high Kd (19 dh) and high Ca (900ppm) at the same time?

I heard the best solution to this is - do nothing....let the natural take it course.... is this true?

do water change slowly thus reducing it slowly to avoid shock to your tank inhabitants~

my ca also very high :( lol

Wow Kh 19 and Ca 900?!! If you are having sps tank, your tank will be white by now. Do frequent partial water change to bring the parameters back to norm.

HTH ;)
