I am interested, but does it comes with a pump? If not, what type of pump is suitable?

Hi Ligerton,

The AM 400 comes with a internal circulation pump in the housing to prevent dead water spots. The pump is inside the top compartment (black portion of the housing as seen in the pic.)

To feed water into the NR400, you can do so using a delicated pump, or using a Tee-off tube to channel water into the housing. Note that in the orginal box, the delicated pump is not provided. The Tee-off tube is part of the package though. When I used it in my sump previously, I use a Tee-off tube to share the water delivered into my FBF500 fluidised reactor. You can also buy from me the ehiem compact 3000 to use it as a delicated pump. I hope this answers your question. Give me a call if you need more answers.
