May I know how is MH usually mounted on top of the tank?

I just got a Geisemann NovaII but I am still considering how it should be put above my tank. I am aware that I have the following options

1. Install a mounting bracket on my ceiling.(Not preferable as I have limited tools)

2. DIY a light stand with PVC Pipe( Will the PVC pipe be able to take the weigh?)

3. Any other suggestions??

I am using wall bracket for my nova. Rather easy to install.

Can get at RD. approx $100.
