any recommended brand.im using the one has a picture of clownfish.

So you are using carbon now and you are getting yellowish water??? What brand is that with a clownfish on it? To be frank, I believe all activated carbon are about the same. Probably a more well known brand would be Rowa.

Well, if you have an ammonia or nitrite spike in your tank, most probably all your corals and livestock would be dead by now. The issue is how much carbon you are using and what is the size of your tank? Are you doing any filtering of your tank using wool filters?

Yellowish water is due to high nutrient in your tank. Probably, you have uneaten food in your tank and could have caused it to be yellowish. Secondly, your bacteria still having fully kick in since your tank is less than 3rd weeks. Try to act more bacteria and do water change to improve the water quality. Control your feeding, make sure the fishes finished the food you fed them. Anyway, this is not a very serious problem.
