Mixing calcium media with sand

Recommended Posts

Hi bro would like to know if I mix some calcium media into my main tank? Is it safe to do and does it help in anyway?

Bro,

Let me try to help.

I assume you are talking about the calcium media that you put in Calcium Reactors.

These requires CO2 to dissolves them.

Putting them in the main tank is not going to help.

You can dose calcium additives (these are in powder or liquid form) in your main tank to increase the the calcium level.

These additives are different from the calcium media I was talking about earlier.

Hope this helps.

Ya. Agree. The media is not gonna dissolve as it required CO2. I'm using the additive in powder form.

U can get them from reborn.
