Micro bubbles in tank after tank move

Managed to move my tank to my new place.

However the return pipes are squirting out alot of micro bubbles.

I turned off my skimmer for about half an hour and the bubbles are still there.

What could be the cause? Something stuck in main pump? Main pump flow too big?

Any bros can advise?

I assume new setup at new place?

Check piping? is it too high beyond yr main pump capability? if yes.. then might think way to raise yr pump or change angle less steep...

if not then may be check your main pump? dismantle yr pump check yr impeller or anything seize in between..

Cheers and Happy Reefing..

Wow... Bubbles ah??? Alot of factor bro...

1.water level in the return pump compartment

2.compartment before return pump compartment, how does the water flow? Got hit hard onto the water at the return pump to create bubble?

3.skimmer location? If near return pump,it might suck the bubble given out by the skimmer

4.check leakage of piping

5.check anything stuck in return pump

Well it can be quite unsightly but i doubt will do too much harm.

However i got a smaller tank that is connected to the main tank using an overflow box.

Worried too much bubbles will accumulate in the overflow box causing the overflow siphon to break and then flooding.

So far not tried the sock yet but used a slightly thicker type of filter wool and that managed to reduce the bubbles by quite alot.

Hi, will too much bubbles cause any harm to the aquarium ? Mine's got lots of bubbles but the fishes and corals are still ok. Just wondering.

They r actually fine for LS just that seeing particles in our water makes us feel irritate nia. The rest ok wan. That's wat I hear from the senior too...

Sock is good n most effective if not wrong but hear say choke very fast.

Must wash every 2 to 3 days like that to clear the dirt or something.
