Hi all,

Bought a blasto yesterday. They were very bright and fat yesterday. After putting them in the tank for almost a day, they are still 'shrunk' with their spikes seen.

Is there anything I need to do for them?

you can use your hand to feel for 5 seconds whether any current/force against your hand in each part of the tank you think it will be lower flow.

i kept a blasto in the below place and it's not doing well.

1) high flow

2) Medium flow

3) high light

4) medium light (half height of my tank)

After i changed to very low/mininal flow and little lighting, it's beginning to become bui bui(fat) again.

Hope this help bro (mine is green centre with red skirting)

:agreed: my also only doing well at Low Light + Low flow.... But somehow my friend blasto able to stand High light + Low Flow....

So... may be try place somewhere low flow and low to moderate light.....

on top of the helpful brothers inputs, it may also due to stress during the trip to your place and also adjusting

to your water condition and temperature.. give the fellow a bit more time.

anyway how much you bought the fellow?
