Ca and Mg too high

hi..i m starting SPS 2 month ago..today i just bought Ca and Mg test kit(JBL)

result after test 2 times Calcium = 600 Magnesium = 1500...its too high for sps..

but KH maintain at 9-10

what should i do? any suggestion..

should i need WC daily to reduce Ca,Mg

yup you can do that bro, measure the ca/mg from the water change and it will decrease

Agreed with Oni, WC is enough within this 2-3week but pls check your KH level consistantly maintain that level. Never drop them rapidly +/-2dkh in a day, you wil see STN on your SPS if you keep one.

Long running high Ca and mag may shorten your equipment life span, calcification take place.

Best recommendation for keeping SPS

KH - 8-10

Ca - 410- 450

Mag- 1300-1400
