Pomacanthus imperator (Bloch 1787), the Emperor Angel.Full size angels should not be mixed with other full size angels, unless it is in a tank of at least 180 gallons. A beautiful, and hardy species the Imperator angel is one of the more striking of the commonly offered Angels. Best kept in a tank no less than 100 Gallons, it can act aggressively towards other Full size Angels. It is suggested to aquire a Juvenile specimen as the Juveniles are easier to adapt to a captive diet. |

Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 – 1.025, pH 8.1 – 8.4, Temp. 72 – 78 F). Range: Fiji, and Red Sea, Found on Reefs throughout the Pacific, into East Africa, and the Red Sea.
