Pygmy Yellowtail Angel
Centropyge flavicauda |
| Centropyge flavicauda, Fraser-Brunner 1933, the Damsel or White-Tail Dwarf Angel. Able to get along with other Pygmy Angels in a tank of at least 75 Gallons or more, due to territoriality. This Angel acts a little more like a Damsel, in that it likes to hide amongst Coral rubble, and be more secretive. The Yellowtail is closely related to the Fisher’s angel, and was once thought to be the same species. The coloration though is completely different, making the Yellowtail the more desirable of the two, by Aquarists. |
