Halichoeres iridis or The Radiant Wrasse is reported to readily consume fireworms, isopods, pyramillid snails, tubeworms, flatworms and bristleworms. Requires fine substrate to sleep in. This active water column swimmer is well known for jumping from tanks without any kind of covering.
Maximum Size: the Halichoeres iridis grows up to 4.5 inches.
Minimum Tank Size: The Radiant Wrasse prefers a tank of at least 50 gallons with plenty of places to hide & swim.
Diet: The Halichoeres iridis is a carnivore and likes to eat Variety of meaty treats including frozen mysis, saltwater feeder shrimp, squid, scallop clam and other crustaceans..
Level of Care: The Radiant Wrasse is a medium maintenance fish.
Behavior: The Radiant Wrasse may act semi-aggressively toward other fish. Not Venemous
