*Lastest update* Till date, my BT is still feeding and swimming freely.. Only once a while being chased by my YT and Brown T. There were some white spots, and swollen eye... but think shd be ok... Anyone got better advice, pls!!!

Hi guys, im not sure if u r facing the same prob... Till date, i still couldnt find clear water in my tank. I have tis 'dusty' residue in my tank, guess the filter is not working effectively as the dirt seldom flow in... Anyone facing the same prob and recommendations pls??? Im thinking of getting a canister filter but currently being budget! I have modified the filter compartment as follows: 1) I have dropped in some filter balls in undereneath the black honeycomb sponge (thinking of removing the honeycomb filter and replacing with all balls) 2) Stuff in a media bag containing phosphate on top of carbon media bag.

Hi, My BT refused to eat at first. I have been adding bit by bit of the Dr Bassleer's Biofish pellet food and was comsumed immediately... Till date, i still hav some white spots coming out... I can only add in slowly/weekly as advised... Anyway. as long as it continues to eat w/o stress, i believe it will overcome the white spots **Pray hard**

I have also went to AquaMarin specially to get the '###### Dr Bassleer's Biofish pellet food to prevent the whitespots. I need experts advice/special instructions pls!!! Hope I could suceed my BT tis time.

Hi guys, in fact i was facing the same problem after I bought my BT about 2 weeks ago. Everything was ok, no ich or stress spots were found. I have also feed with garlic guard and anti-parasite dry food to my BT. However, some white spots started to come out abt 5 days ago, condition worsen until it became a Xmas tree (full of spots)... Until then, I also notice that the color start fading off and immediately took him out and place in a Quarantine tank mixed with 'Aquapharm 30min Quick Dip'. Till the next day morning, my BT was pronounced dead.

Sigh... Your account is somehow similar to mine... In fact, on the first occassion, my orange star died due to high temp (haven bought a chiller). On the second ocassion, i bought another one but still dies due to high temp... Thus, i suspect that it could be due to high temp... Have you actually saw your cleaner shrimp haven its meal on your orange star?? Personnally, i felt that it could be due to high temp... Good luck to you!
