Try Sim Lim Tower. Cheap timer sometimes has problem handling mh lighting.

Yes. I was thinking that there is a large amount of food particle floating around in a nps tank, having a few clam might be beneficial too. Plus tunicate, sponges and other water filtering organism that can be purchase at the lfs.

What you see and what you have to do are two different thing altogether. Without knowing what you need to know, your outcome might not be as what you think you expected.

Has anyone ever think of using clam to filter the water for their NPS theme tank? With all the food being dumped into the water, it might feed the clams.

Well the overhaul defintely clear alot of waste... I wonder if anyone will take their bet to use purely this product, without nitrate exporter like chaeto or denitrator.
Doing it right now with no nitrate exporter like chaeto and denitrator. I do have a carbon reactor only.

Terryz, there is a small crinoid specimen at Iwarna. Small like thumb size. You should get it.

There were 2 cloves left so I sapu them. Less than 2 red notes each. The chilli coral was that red but there were a few of those bumps or polyp, very few, like sparsely few. Now beginning to regret not getting them.

I am using it in place of live rock. I do not have a single live rock except for the ones that came attached to corals. All I am using is fake live rock from GO. I have a few kg of Biohome plus in the 1st compartment of my sump. Been using this for nearly 2 years and the tank looks ok to me. My tank is a 422 with a 3ft sump.

Saw that too but I was unfamiliar with that coral so give it a miss. Bought a prata and clove from them.

Say hello to 2 1/2hr down time and 25 minute of run time for the compressor! You've placed it indoor too, similar to mine!
