temp not an issue. Tank runnin on chiller, fan and located in air con room. Infact, i have to on my heater at nite to maintain the temp ard 26 or else it will drop to 23. . Juz wanna knw whether will cause an overkill coz keeping LPS also.

Presently using a 10000k 150W Mh together with 2 FL actinic for my 3ft tank consisting of LPS and SPS. Thinkin of supplementing my tank with another 20000k 400W Mh or shd ii go for a 250W Mh instead. Wat do u guys think?

They do come with eballast and its located below the reflector. My also spoilt 2 days ago and i perform a 'surgery' on the Dymax, dound tat the eballast spoilt. Managed to diy and changed it to a 36-40W eballast. Now can get ATI T5 and install into the casing.

could be ur handling, sudden change in temp..........anyway if u r on good terms with that lfs, they may replace a new one for u.

Bro, u can't use a 250W de on a 150 MH unit unless u change the ballast, capacitor....

U need to do some reading up and ask ques here before u really go into marine. 3 days is not cycling, its merely starting. Most probably ur tank haven even start the cycling process at all yet. 1kg of LRs is definitely not enough to act as ur bio-filter. U nd at least 10kg easily, so better start gettin more LRs to put in ur tank then to waste money gettin fishes. If u going for DSB. I dun think one packet of sand is enough. Get ur equipments rite first before gettin LS. Use reliable brand testkits and do the necessary testin on ur water parameters first before even thinkin of adding any more things into ur tank.

IOS is good enough but a sump would of coz be the best choice.

I used mine in this configuration. 1230-moonlight on 1330-MH on 1345-moonlight off 2315-moonlight on 0000-MH off 0030-moonlight off Moonlight is suppose to simulate dusk and dawn. U won't wan to shock the LS with sudden light on and off.

Give it some time to get use to the surrounding. Mine also quite shy when it first got into the tank. As long it moving, it shd b ok.

yup....in a way the sea cucumber are doing polishing work on ur sand. With it inside, u hardky have aglae on ur sand.
