  1. hi bro iori_del

what do you expect ... anything from CF are killers ... mine too (damn)

there are blacky ones ... but i don't like too much blackies, so i decided to buy a plain one ... because i like the white-body at the middle (looks like multi-color angel), to each his own i guess ... btw this angel is only 0.75 inch (me loves tiny fishy)

also, i missed the multi-color angel at SL, anyone wants to own up .... show us the pic leh ... the multi-color was only 0.8 inch big .... i miss ... i miss ... i miss ...

i wanted to show my 0.5 inch ugly from I, but bad bad DC and (sigh) ... i should have bought this argi as a pair too. anyone wants to own up .... show us the pic of the other 0.5 inch argi leh ...

    :thanks:

    lizard

wow.....since u mentioned a clam oreadi cost u a arm and leg. Then the agri must hav cost u the other set. So.... hybrid lemon peel must hav cost u the rest of ur body parts. Wats left bro. :whistle

  2. well....most of u guys experienced fight betw resident tang and newly intro tang> tats common coz everybody knws tat oldies will be aggressive to newbies. But as for my case, whack MI, angels, butterflies (they r not tangs  ). There is a sayin tat if u feed ur dog raw bloody meat will make them very fierce....hmm.....

wonder wat did DB feed his PBT last time :P

    Pls pm me ur offer.

Reserved the rights to reject whoever i deem nt suitable to keep the abv LS.

  4. welcome to the club of fools :P

Wonder got anymore new members or not lol.....

At the moment...dun think got new member coz if i m nt wrong...Iwarna came in only 3. Mayb in the near future or who knws there mayb some reefers out there who oreadi owned one. :yeah:

Do see 3 on the day of shipment but didn't pay much attention to it coz price oreadi nt attractive. Was payin more attention on AT instead coz the idea of keepin a school of AT still floatin in my mind :paiseh:

Went pasir ris area on sundae look see look see and happened to see one over at pacific marine...after "beoing" for quite some time decided to cross over to Iwarna to get it. Left only one....so was thinkin, "i m nt alone" got crazy kaki out there.

Anyway, the one at pac marine was sold.

  5. i have a funny theory so correct me if i'm wrong.....strong ciruclation is required because AT requires well oxygenated water to do well......

now if we lower our temperature, it would in theory increase the level of Oxygen in the tank....so wouldn't temparture be an important factor to the well being of this beautiful fish?

Although liveaquaria recommended a temp of 72-78F but i m quite skeptical abt their qoute coz AT was also mentioned to be aggressive to other tangs (tat i strongly agreed) but peaceful to other tankmates (no-no  ....my AT bullied angels, moorish idol....etc)

Anyway...back to the temp topics. ;)

If we were to lower the temp too much.....to wat extend?

Take it tat we lowered the temp to 22C =>kinda low for a reef tank rite. And if its a fowlr....kina waste electricity runnin a chiller for fowlr. Also do take into consideration of other fishes frm other parts of the world which may not enjoy chillin out in the tank together with the AT.

A typical reef tank temp here ranges frm 24-27C whereas a fowlr 26-31/2C. Hawaii sea temp is ard 24-30C therefore i find anythin within this range would be acceptable unless u take extreme caution in gettin urs to acclimatizes to the temp u wan.

Good water circulation is not only to perform gases exhange between the water surfaces but also to provide resistance for fishes to swim against. Tats y fishes frm the sea always taste better than those caught in pond or kelong. ;)

  6. woh bro , u must be AT specialist...

Ur Avater AT is so nice.. Must be the best AT ard here...

Got any tips to give us>>> :D

wait till u see roidan one. Teardrop lagi bigger

    AT not suitable if.....

    1. Ur tank is new.

    2. Anythin below 150gal.

    3. Aggressive tankmates.

    4. Inconsistent water parameters.

    5. Lousy water condition.

    6. Poor water circulation.

    7. U lack fish introduction skills resultin in stress.

And the best tip is not to keep ...........>if u nvr practice quarantinin ur newly bought fish. :erm:

btw....point 4, 5 and 5 r reason y AT survival rates r higher in sps tank coz sps reefers r OBESSED with consistent water parameters, ideal water conditions, water movement in tank
