That is why you guys should trash it out. No point hiding behind these false veil and claim this and that. If you have evidence, bring it out. I can be mediator. But that was borne out of frustration from seeing it rot (admit it Conrad, there was a time where this forum really started to rot), topics and posts were not moderated at all, free for all slanging matches, SPAM BOTS (I really take issue with that!). Oh gosh! In this how the reefing forum scene has deteriorate to eh? Administrators taking pot shots at each other, forums going behind the back to recruit members, forums declaring that they are the no 1 in Singapore with long nonsensical statements that put me to sleep......and so on. All for what? What do you gain by screwing each other? Why can't the forums exist in their own right? I'm sure Singapore reefing scene can live with more than 1 forum, right? Everyone has the right to choose how they reef and which forum they prefer. So just let them choose! We are not here to judge. Why is there an ABSOLUTE need to insinuate on why a certain tank is vanquished? Do we actually know the reason why he did it? Why should we assume that burn out,rush and greed, and lost of passion is the reason? Maybe there is a real genuine reason for the vanquishing. If people decom, they decom. If they restart, we congratulate them. I've seen reefers here decom and restart their tank 4 times in a year and are still getting great support from the members here even from the administrators. So what? It's their choice! I've seen SRC take a bad turn and now with the new software upgrade and stuff, things are looking much better, especially with "Paris Hilton Videos" and "How to enlarge your pXXXs" ads all gone. Keep it up! But please can you guys call a truce and let both forums flourish in their own right? I hate to see the forums turn into a inter forum slugging fest which don't do any good to anyone or to the forum itself. I'm not playing god here and deciding what is right. But I'm sure the RIGHT way is definitely better than what exist now. I used to remember it WAS.

Hi again Bob, Thanks for your response. However, firstly, I don't have the honour to claim the forum as mine... Secondly, I'm glad you are already aware of those other posts by the thread starter in this forum...if ever you are in doubt as to where to find, I can gladly direct you. I do visit the Zeovit forum as a guest although I don't use Zeovit myself. Just visit to view some of the lovely tanks and corals there....I guess most of the SPS buffs here be it Zeovit user or not do visit the forum there to view and expose ourselves to other reefing methods.....But how can you guys remember the dosing regime??? Gosh I get lost after zeostart... Really admire your dedication to the method. (That's genuine, no sarcasm there) Which now brings me back to why is there a difference in attitude of posting by the thread starter in the two forums....Let me hazard a guess, maybe we are just some local yobs acting as reefers, so no matter how successful we are, we are in no position to even clean his skimmate cup for him, let alone have a honest, down to earth discussion, without slime thrown at our faces and harsh criticism shoved down our throats....or what? Alright bro, If he did post the wrong photo, just come out and admit it. A wrong photo and a photo similar to one previously posted but with superb colour enhancement are different issues. However, I'm willing to accept the fact that he posted the wrong photo. Come out and tell us then....Is he able to do that? Without obscuring the truth? I don't know what issues you have with Alfa and I'm not interested to know but by using a defensive stance for Alanseah to do your battle with Alfa does not serve the purpose of our discussion here so far. What Alan did is wrong but that doesn't mean we are condemning him, only condemning his act. Please don't twist his intentions by insinuating that his actions are right and true......Come on, we all know they are NOT.

Hi Bob, Welcome to SRC.....This issue aside, would really appreciate it if you could continue to post and share your knowledge and experience on this forum, especially for the benefit of those who are using Zeovit. Once again welcome..

madmac, You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. But this issue is not so black and white like what you think. Anyway we will still hope that issues can be clarified here to put a rest to them. But we need the thread starter to speak up..... And the waiting continuessssss.............

madmac and Gouldian, We are not pushing him away from SRC. We welcome him with open arms to continue to post. Nobody is telling him to stop posting. We have no right to stop anyone from posting. Please do continue to post as we have been asking him again and again. Please post.... But please post with some integrity. Come back and answer some of the queries that has been addressed here. You are not getting out of this shit you created lightly.. The manner that the thread has been started, do you really think it's a genuine attempt to get reefers here to show their SPS photos without lighting? I don't think so. I don't think SPS are even nice to look at without light anyway. So what's the point? Let me tell you......It is just to set a platform to show off the photoshopped photo he has prepared and tell us how colourful his corals are supposedly without any lights and enhancement...Bad mistake. Anyway since I'm the one who started this issue by comparing the photos, I say now, my intention is and have always been, to drive home the fact that, 'Why do we need to be better than the next reefer?' My reef is my reef, your reef is your reef. It will be different. Your method is different from mine. Your husbandry is different as well. Your needs and expectations...only you yourself know. If you see something you like, strive and work for it. Everyone's tank is heaven to oneself. Why? Because you built it with your hard work and imagination. You pour your heart and soul into it. Stand by it and watch it grow and transform. You will no doubt get full satisfaction from it. Don't ever stoop so low as to cheat to show something which you do not own just to show you are a better, if not the best, reefer. We don't need people coming in and belittle other reefers and boast about what they have achieved or what equiment they owned. We are not in a competition here. We are here to share, learn and enjoy the hobby. We don't need to be better than the next reefer.
