We sincerely hope he can come out and defend what he has done.....that he didn't photoshop the photo.....that the coral colour were true and real...that the 2 photos posted at different days were indeed different photo......or in actual fact, can he?
Please, I would like to hear the truth.....if indeed enhacement was done, admit it like a man and say it was a mistake to do it, especially after giving a high and mighty lecture belittling people for using photoshop on the photos posted in SRC. Actually, I have nothing against people doing some photoshop on their photos. Make them more pleasing and more presentable. But boasting that your photos are not enhanced and then posting a photoshopped photo yourself and passing it off as the real thing is downright degrading the intelligence of the people who log on to this forum... We are not monkeys....
And bro, please stop answering and making excuses on his behalf can??? Got nothing against your posts but need to hear from the horse's mouth....

Interesting!! It is going to be my first reply in Kopi-Tiam (i think so)... I just want to say that even the Sep 10th photo is pretty cool. And WL's shoot is even better. Although this thread becomes a laughing matter, i think the intent of this thread is good and hopefully some can take a shoot over the weekend morning (i dun think most of us ever bother to take such a shoot) and can show us.. Agreed on the original intention of the thread being good.
Also agreed that to 10 Sep 2005 photo is cool. The photo was posted in his tank thread although I don't particularly fancy it but I kept quiet and bare with it.
But why the dressing down on people posting with lights, people use computer photoshop software (not my words, go read the very 1st post from the thread starter), challenge TOTM winners (read the 2nd post) and then post a same photo as the 10 Sep 2005 WITH photoshop (as confirmed by Alfa and BH). This I cannot take!!! Even a blind man knows that photo was enhanced....
Nobody need this shit....nobody needs their tank to be perfect for everyone, only perfect for your own eyes.....nobody needs people showing off by doing the same stunt which he criticise everyone for doing......nobody need to be jealous on what other people can achieve coz nobody knows what hard work, time and money each of us sink into our reefs.....just do your stuff....show your results if you want to.....applaude others if you like their work......shut the hell up if you don't like their work.....no need to tee everyone up

Your yellow or purple or black or brown tang (can't tell the original colour liao) must be so shocked at your corals condition that it turned BLUE<......
Sorry can't help you until the 4 day colouration secret formula is revealed....best you stay tuned to this potential thread of the year to learn...else you will lose out big time...
In the meantime, I'll try to conjure a spell to see whether the 3 suns can appear at your place to help you with the colouration.....albeit temporary only....

bro, even with lights on, i can't even take proper photos of my tank liao.
I lend you the 3 suns lah. Sure solid one.....will look like the 1st photo in this thread..

To take the photo w/o the main tank lighting means you shoot in low dim lights conditions so it is possible that he make use of the tank as support for his camera.
You know dim lights requires longer exposure and sometimes shaky hands can results in blurr photos.
Like Minsmarine said "think out of the box"

We are not pushing him away from SRC. We welcome him with open arms to continue to post. Nobody is telling him to stop posting. We have no right to stop anyone from posting. Please do continue to post as we have been asking him again and again. Please post....
But please post with some integrity. Come back and answer some of the queries that has been addressed here. You are not getting out of this shit you created lightly..
The manner that the thread has been started, do you really think it's a genuine attempt to get reefers here to show their SPS photos without lighting? I don't think so. I don't think SPS are even nice to look at without light anyway. So what's the point? Let me tell you......It is just to set a platform to show off the photoshopped photo he has prepared and tell us how colourful his corals are supposedly without any lights and enhancement...Bad mistake.
Anyway since I'm the one who started this issue by comparing the photos, I say now, my intention is and have always been, to drive home the fact that,
'Why do we need to be better than the next reefer?'
My reef is my reef, your reef is your reef. It will be different. Your method is different from mine. Your husbandry is different as well. Your needs and expectations...only you yourself know.
If you see something you like, strive and work for it. Everyone's tank is heaven to oneself. Why? Because you built it with your hard work and imagination. You pour your heart and soul into it. Stand by it and watch it grow and transform. You will no doubt get full satisfaction from it.
Don't ever stoop so low as to cheat to show something which you do not own just to show you are a better, if not the best, reefer. We don't need people coming in and belittle other reefers and boast about what they have achieved or what equiment they owned. We are not in a competition here. We are here to share, learn and enjoy the hobby.
We don't need to be better than the next reefer.
