  1. Hey bro, diy denitrater, i'm interested. Cost much? Effective?
  2. My lions used to have it. And yeah, it comes and goes. I power up their food with garlic gurad and vitachem. And of course, keep water parameters as pristine as i possibly could. Apparently, their cloudy eyes disappeared too. Give them some places to hide, they might feel safer and less stressed up. Hope this helps.
  3. Will be quite chialat if your rockscape has got lots of places for them to duck and hide, and of course, be extra careful, i always get my g/f to stand by to warn me in case my lions get to close to my arms:)
  4. I saw someone posting to sell a already weaned fumanchu lion, anyone else selling?
  5. Pterois Russelli is hard to come by btw and not as hardy as the volitans btw, good luck.
  6. Caught a glimpse of a very nice yellow frogfish at Paradiz R@@f but dunno if its still there.
  7. Went to shop for lions with pterois yesterday. Saw alot of radiattas bro, mostly at pasir ris farms. I got one just the other day. Radiatta is kinda shy creature, normally hiding in caves and only out during dusk and dawn time jusy to feed. I still weaning mine:)
  8. Bro volitan, Will lookout for you on the radiatta, wana go lfsing during the weekends?
  9. Bro volitan, heeheehee i found it at the little fish shop round the corner of balestier rd heeheeheee. A fiery red antenatta indeed, already weaned to frozen! yeahhhhhhh.
  10. Yeah bro, shrimps are hell lot better than any fresh water fish:)
  11. Try to give it a miss using goldfish! Mollies are still okay for two weeks. Dun have to wait till a month bro. Honestly, i wean mine immediately they arrive. Its only when they really refuse to eat after much attempts, then i will resort to mollies. I just got a fiery red antenatta minutes ago and shall rush back now to enjoy it. Keep in touch and enjoy!
  12. I wean them with my bare hands haaahaaahaaaa. I started wriggling live mollies in their view (using my hands) in the first practise and eventually switching to lance fish. They associate my hands with food nowadays. Volitans are easily weaned. Not so sure anbout radiatta bro. Update me with your weaning methods yeah when it works.
  13. I hereby vouch that he is indeed a very nice guy, just spoken to him over the wire:) We need more ppl like that in the forum.
  14. The dinner party's over........ Your parents are there Your in laws are there Your boss and his wife are there You're all settling down for a nice relaxing evening Then in walks the dog...
  15. Sorry 19percula, Balrog is already taken, he just called me:) But if u want, i can go hunt for u. Just tell me the specs. I always go shopping:)
  16. Sorry, typo error. I meant pump up the skimmer and do monthly water change. The one i'm selling is not weaned so u will have to try too:)
  17. Hey bro, they are perfectly reef safe. Not interested in my corals at all but not safe for creatures like shrimps and other smaller fihes that fits into their mouth. Their bioload tend to be heavy too, so pump up the skimmer monthly water change. The good news is, u dun have to feed them too much, just enough to see the buldge in their tummys is good enough. I feed mine once every three days. Btw, the big got is not already weaned:)
  18. Hey 19percula, its already reserved:) Letting go at around $25. Will let u know if he backs out.
  19. Hey islander, check out his new avatar in this thread Lets go get u some lionssssssss, just let me know when or let me know what u wanted, i also go around shopping for lions:)
  20. Let me know if anyone is interested in the 6 inche lion Balrog:) Made up mu mind liao.
  21. Btw, radiattas are dusk to dawn hunters. They prefer lots of places to hide when the lights go up.
  22. Nice radiatta bro! awesome! They are not too hard to keep but does not tolerate poor water quality well when compared to their other cousins and hard to wean to frozen. But the good news is, they do not grow to such lengths like the volitans:) Russelli is amongst the hardiest of all the lions even compared to the volitans and eaiser to wean to frozen. HHmmmmmm i might be selling my 6 incher Balrog and hunt for a russelli........ anyone interested?
