  1. i will try to verify the accuracy of pH today.

    btw, i do not do any dosing of additive. just plain distill water with TM salt mix. so i assume that the pH should fall nicely within the acceptable range.

    other coral seem to be doing fine. only this particular yuma.

  2. i would suggest try to go for 1.5 width. 1ft for width it too tight for a marine tank. it is difficult to create a 3D view. unless you are very firm of your scaping and tank concept. otherwise likelyhood is that you will want to have almost every piece of coral in your tank.

    just sharing my personal experience. i am having a 2x1x1. i find the width is too tight. cause alot of scaping and placing of coral issue. and tendency is that you will alway want to put in more coral and try to squeeze out more space.

    end of the day, you will find yourself rescaping and creating more space to accomdate the coral. at least this is what happen to me.

  3. nitrate=10ppm.

    phosphate not tested but i dose goodbye phosphate regular to keep it in tact.

    pH=8.6

    SG=1.025

    intially place it on the sandbed but seem like does not open well. shifted up to mid tank. observe few days, seem worst.

    using 4x t5HO. not very strong cause having single reflector.

  4. seem like i the odd 1 out using this polyfilter.

    anyway just a little update to share, skimmer back to normal but still creating alot of micro bubble in my tank. due to unknown reason.

    hopefully this will subside when i go home today.

  5. any reefer can share their experience with this product?

    i bought 1 some time back so yesterday decided to use it. realise my skimmer skimming out alot of water with the same setting.

    i am using the red sea prism HOB. this created alot of micro bubble in the tank. nothing has change beside adding the polyfilter.

    after this, i went to test the kH. realise it only 6. cannot conclude it due to the polyfilter as i did not test for awhile. but in the past it alway around 10-12 without adding any additive.

  6. Got a approx 2 year old Arctica 1/5 hp chiller for sale.

    Always been using on a 2 ft tank but recently upgraded to a 4 ft with sump thus chiller not efficient enough to cool my tank.

    Getting a 1/2 hp thus letting this good chiller go.

    Going for $680 or $760 with ehiem 1250 pump.

    1250 pump just got for 3 days from clementi @ $115.

    Price is quite firm. Sms me @ 90992055 if interested.

    Helping my friend to post.

    Note: above is used in a freshwater tank.
