Might be problematic for me. have zero success in catching fishes out from tank since day 1. Anyone kind enough to loan me a betta box to try lure the fishes in east side? haha..

something to ask.. can I do a re-scape with all the live stock still in the tank? Currently have 3 tangs including 1 regal, 2 angels, 2 clowns, hammer, frogspawn and mushrooms. Wanting to re-scape for sometime, but worried it gonna stirred up debris and have ANN spike.

Help... hammer is opening well right after being introduced into tank. 1 week later, observe that there is some damage on the flesh the edges. Not working today, so discovered that my purple tang is nibbling on it. Yellow tang is well behave though. what can be done to rescue the hammer?

Selling 500g sized Seavhem Kalkwasser for $15. Used sparingly for only dor 3weeks, left 98%. Selling due to my inability to control my parameters. Reverting back to balanced 2part solution. PM me if interest.

Not sure what salt started off with. But ocasionally using NSW from LFS for small water change. I am able to maintain quite a well balance KH, PH, CA when I use A, B buffer solution. Only when I start using Kalk as substitute then the parameters start to go off. What is the best solution to get back to the ideal parameters, besides water change? I still want to use Kalk for calcium supplement. Ah-lim: Kalk solution is mixed and left overnite to settle in sealed 1.5l bottle, then top up at nite using dripping method. No massive storage of Kalk solution here.

After 3weeks of Kalk dosing daily using 1.5l mix, water parameters are still not quite ideal. CA: 300 mg/l (low) KH: 6 dKH (low) PH: 8.5 (high?) Wanted to increase KH, but based on my dosing, its going to further increase my PH. Any way to increase it without affecting the PH? Might want to increase CA when KH and PH balance is solved. It seems like Kalk mixing requires more skill than balance addictive dosing. Any suggestions? Will Seachem Reef builder be a good alternative to boast up the KH and maintain PH to 8.3? Fishes are doing fine, but one of the coral shows signs of bleeching...

Lighting unit comes with MH fixture, 2 T8 tubes and leg supprt. Do note that it is in NON-WORKING condition due to faulty ballast. Parts that can be savage include: 2 T8 18W tubes (blue) Digital Timer. (Can be used for DIY to independently control 2 sets of lights) Or send for repair; price quoted for repair from Adec is $35 for each faulty ballast, but will be cheaper if it is the igniter that is damaged.
