  1. Lenses and flash I can loan so not a problem there Most importantly is that I'll be shooting sports and the photos are going to be blown to huge banners so I don't really have much of a choice. Well I saved enough, just need a bit more from this sales Anyway, lets not deviate from this thread. I need to sell off this camera
  2. Nah I need it for work as a event photographer And yea, I'm buying it with purely my savings Anyway, back to my sales, any takers? Price negotiable

  6. Those are probably little tube worms, not harmful at all I've got thousands of those in my refugium plus few tens of those kind of tube worms you find in shops growing from the thick layer of detritus at the bottom
  7. Yep but you're using the E510 kit lens right? I'm selling because I need to upgrade to a professional DSLR for my work. For a review of this camera, look here: E-500 Review And I forgot to add that I had not claimed the free Olympus E-System DSLR workshop and the 3 expeditions (Night, Nature and Travel) so you get to have a photography course as well from this package!!
  8. This was taken using the macro lens during Aquarama
  9. Forgot to add, the 14-45mm lens and 40-150mm lens comes with Tokina Skylight 1A filter and the 35mm macro comes with Hoya UV filter
  10. Here's the E500 with the 14-45mm Zuiko Digital lens Pardon the external dust, using a table lamp for illumination
  11. Hi guys, I'm selling my 3 month old Olympus E500 DSLR camera for $1300. Price includes: 1) Olympus E500 DSLR Body 2) Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-45mm f3.5-5.6 lens 3) Olympus Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f3.5-4.5 lens 4) Olympus Zuiko Digital 35mm f3.5 MACRO lens Basically covers almost every aspect from close up to wide angle to telephoto. Warranty still has 8 months left!! Lenses come with lens caps and lens hoods except for the macro lens which does not have a hood. The Olympus E500 uses the revolutionary Olympus FourThirds system which is built on a fully digital system for digital cameras (Nikon and Canon base theirs on film). This system promises accurate colour reproduction and performance of the image sensor by allowing light to hit straight on the sensor, a tested criteria for optimal sensor performance. Not to forget, the E500 comes with in built SuperSonic Wave Filter which sends waves of ultrasonic vibrations to a filter before the sensor to shake off any dust particle that might show up on digital images. This means there's no more hesitation to change out the lenses for optimal shooting. Interested please PM me or sms me at 92986195
  12. I'm quite sure I'm not the only one who noticed this trend. Teens nowadays are getting themselves involved in relationships at a younger age. Be it on the road, along the streets, in the bus, under void decks, I start to see a sight that alarms me. This might sound ironic coming from someone who is my age but I thought this might be an interesting topic to discuss. Few days ago, I saw this young boy and girl walking down a walkway with their hands clasped in intimacy. He's definately not in the right age IMO to be doing that (uniform with shorts = not even sec 3). Yes, the advocates would scream that there's nothing wrong with a boy and a girl holding hands but if we exercise a bit of common sense, it is obvious what's going on. I wonder what is the perception of being in love to the very young couple. To me, I find it morally right to only start dating when each is serious about it. Just imagine one day your spouse revealed to you that he/she once had been in 10 relationships before he/she came to you, how would you feel? This was the thought that occurred to me. Just a few moments ago, I was reading Stomp's forum and came across this thread that was posted by a 15 year old boy asking for advice to win a girl's heart. And if this doesn't get you worked up, he had only known about the girl a week ago. Chances are that he's probably infatuated with her rather than being serious about starting a relationship. I understand that teens have the urge for the opposite gender at that age and especially when you come across someone whom you know you just can't let go. Trust me, I've been though that age before although I wasn't interested in girls for some unknown reason. It is rather sad that the happiest relationships I see in campus are bestowed only onto those rational enough to see the big picture. I've also got many friends who are troubled with break ups or attempts at getting someone's attention and this affects their personal well being. And on this, yes, I know because I've been through that process before (ok, I confess). So what do you guys think of ###### relationships nowadays? Are they all just platonic? *Please do keep this thread healthy
  13. I don't think LPS filter feed phyto from the water column. Considering that they had expended energy to make their polyps so big, it is so that they can capture zooplankton
  14. Hi there Kim, Here's a very big WELCOME to SRC Great to have you here!
  15. Quite on the contrary, I would think that ammonia, nitrite and nitrate would be more important than kH. This is because ANN are chemicals that are toxic to fishes as compared to kH which concerns more to keeping calcifying lifestock
  16. That slug you have looks like a Phyllidia varicosa Species from this genus feed on sponges and thus obtain defensive chemicals from it. If the slug does not die, it'll probably poison anything else in your tank through its defensive mechanism You can try www.seaslugforum.net for more info on sea slugs
  17. You mean LPS? I find from personal experience that they do not need to be fed anything (as with all photosynthetic corals) but like Ian said, benefit from feeding. And feeding in this sense is not any liquid coral food sold on the market but food as in chopped up prawns and fish and such
  18. I see you have got a sea slug in your new tank Do take note that they have very specialised diets and 99% of the time they'll just die and pollute your tank. Please do stay away from these creatures next time you see them in the shops ok? Oh and maybe you could give us some info on your setup? Like water parameters, equipments and such
  19. I used Purple Up and its a really really good product if you want your tank to turn purple with coralline
  20. Cool, wanna try tree climbing one day Don't think it can be done here though...
  21. Here's the thread that showed how my tank got about Blueheaven's 4ft Tank Its a 4ft by 2ft by 2.5ft tank I'm currently using a Reef Maniacs Recirculating Beckett for skimmer
  22. And can anyone ID this frag? Love it for its big polyps and extreme fluorescence
