Hello Fellow Reefers, I am selling 2 packets of Biohome (both red + white color) for $80. In its original package (sealed) since I bought it a few months back. For pictures and uses of Biohomes, pls do a search in SRC threads and you will be able to get all the information needed abt this product. Will provide free delivery if place and time is right. No use for it now because I have managed to reduce my bioload drastically by reducing the fish livestocks instead of keeping them. This will be particularly useful for those who have high bioload and high nitrate to control.

Thanks fr yr info. My current phosphates hover around 0.25 - 0.5 ppm using Rowaphos in cannister filter. Any ideas how to make it grow fast like adding additives or feeding them with microplankton ? So far, has checked thru all the SRC threads but seemed that there are hardly any discussion or information on green star polyp. Hope some more reefers will care to share their experience further.

Do any want have big Green Star Polyp to sell ? Hope to get one at a reasonable price. Btw, can Green Star Polyp survive in tank with PO4 abt 1 ppm or lower ? Anyone can share their experience ? Or are there other the water parameters that you need to look out ? Do you have to feed them with micro plankton too ? Thanks fr yr great assistance

Hope to find a responsible and good future owner for her as my customised tank has little room left for her after adding alot of live rocks bought from fellow SRC member. Has been in my tank since Jun 03 last year. Feeding her mainly with JBL Marlin pellet. She is in tip-top condition except a slight clouded left eye. Hi Kelvin (CalciumReef), This is my compliment to you for the great works that you have done for my tank. The MH + compact lights are really superb (phase 1 of upgrading) and the installation work for my new Ehiem 1262 + protein skimmer (phase 2) are truly a piece of excellent workmanship considering the reasonable cost and the amount of work involved. Another bravos to you is the diligence as well as honesty that you show when my MH bulb broke down due to some unforseen circumstances within a 2 months period. You have replaced it with a new one without any costs or charges. This is indeed value and good services for money spent. On top of this, I am really amazed by the knowledge and expertise that you have shown in this marine stuff . Must give you the due credit for giving my tank a brand new look after keeping a simple FOWLR tank for almost coming to the past 2 years. I am really happy to engage yr services in SRC for the great works done since early May 04. Will count on yr support in the future should I need to upgrade to a bigger tank after this major upgrading. Glad to know you as a new friend & supplier in this marine fish hobby. Saw yr thread abt Copperband Butterfly in SRC. Guess you got the answer it's not really reef-safe unless u can get them re-conditioned in their eating habit. Extrema is a good pump if not becos of my upgrading I think I will be sticking to them till my interest wane off......

Hi All Fellow Marine Keepers, Thinking of keeping some shrimps like cleaner shrimps, coral bands or harlequins so some need advice on the following:- 1. Is it compatible with reef lobsters ? 2. Can it survive in high nitrates level i.e. 50 ppm to 80 ppm ? 3. What about temperature of around 30 degree +/- 1 or 2 ? 4. Any other things that I should know besides above 3 questions

Hi Orgasbt, I notice yr tank is very similar to mine - guess we share the same tank/cabinet supplier - Atl**tis (new business name). I have just got a Weipro 2011 but find that I can't put it into the pump chamber like you did. Can you tell me how you fix it into the limited space in yr pump chamber ? If possible, pls show me more pictures of yr tank. Hope to get your reply soonest. I will pm you my contact no. if it's more convenient that way or I will call your contact if you like. Btw, have you tried using the higher model like 2013/2014 ? As given in yr picture, the top receptable of the Weipro is already hitting the top of yr cabinet. I am also facing this big headache when I was trying to install mine too : ( Aside to Clownfish, Is the 2013/14 series much slimmer and taller in size as compare to its predecessor 2011 ? Hi, Can anyone provide the websites where you can get all the specs for the various models of Weipro protein skimmer i.e. 2012, 2013 etc. Heard that weipro pumps are very noisy and not so good. Any comments or suggestions on other compatible pumps to use. Thanks again.
