  1. Mushrooms are basically easy to keep. I find that good light causes mine to open, some as big as palm size. Yes moderate current is sufficient n don't need chiller. Beng shop at pasir ris sells $5 to $8 onwards. Happy reefing. Zoas are also quite nice - check it out
  2. hi bro, there are 4 marine fish shops at pasir ris. It may take a few molts for ur fire to recover. meanwhile feed him well. adding iodine is good. The dottyback is a known gangster. adding more shrimps would give him more victims to hammer!!!!
  3. congratulations! 'native of Singapore' Fuel. hope the reef builder magazine didnt think that ur fish tanks are up on a tree! hehe. Happy farming

  17. hi all, since i am quite new in this hobby, hope to get some input from you guys/gals. i have this 3ft side overflow tank running for 1 year already. no water change for 1 month and the nitrate is 0; this is after my 2 harlequin shrimps just consumed 1 big linckia starfish with shreds of white meat flying all over the tank. i thought with all this rotting n contamination nitrate level would go up. i also have 5 other clownfish n some zoa n mushrooms in this tank. it gets about 3 hours of direct sunlight in the afternoon n some algae plant on the rock is growing (dont know the name though). appreciate your reading n input. tks
