i just got a unit from madpetz. setting up is easy. you just need to have a tap with thread to fix the adapter on.
running cost should be very low. you can perhaps think of ways about how to use the waste water from the unit because the RO unit will have certain rejection rates. and regarding electricity, you might need a booster pump if your water pressure from the tap is too low.

pls PM me the price of the clams too. thanks.

anyone know how much are the bartlett anthias at TFC?
-
one of my carberryi anthias got this too when i got it from the LFS. it was really shy and elusive at first but has since recovered and fatten up quite a bit.
if yours is feeding, there's a higher chance of recovery. just ensure that it gets to eat and maintain good water quality. it will recover in time.

Victor from Irwana just helped me set up a 3 ft tank a few weeks ago. Very experienced and knowledgeable. Can look for him if you are interested.

I'm running a 1/4 hp chiller in my living room. Don't really feel the heat when I sit at the sofa because the ventilation over there is quite okay. Think the overall ventilation of the room is important in order to effectively dissipate the heat. Yeah, my ceiling fan helps too.

you may like to feed some live gamarus as treats to your seahorse, which is easy found on seagrass or weeds at changi beach. a seahorse fed on various fed will enhance its health and great nutrition for breedin purpose.
all the best! ;-)
that sounds like some great food for the ponies.. can you share with us how to collect them? just grab the whole bunch of seagrass/weeds?? thanks!

thanks! i have to thank pegasus1 for breeding such fantastic seahorses.

Hi! Just sharing some pictures I took of my seahorses. They are from Irwana and MarineLife, captive bred locally by fellow forummer, pagasus1. They are very healthy and hungry, feeding on enriched small shrimplets from market. Hope they live a long life under my care. Enjoy~
