  1. MH is power hungry. Have you considered LED instead?

    Hi,

I hear that led coverage are not as good as mh right?

If let's say I go into led, what is the recommended wattage and how much would it be for my tank?

It's about 3 by 2.5 by 2 feet tank. In fact tehe length is slightly more than 3feet.

    Thanks!

  2. What's your tank size and depth? how far are the lights from the top of the waterline?

Hi my tank size is abt 100cm by 75cm by 60cm. So yup it's a normal two feet depth.

The lights are abt 13cm away from the surface of the water.

    Thanks!

  3. Hi all,

Would like your opinions regarding lighting for my tank.

Is 2xMH 150w supplement with t5 light sufficient to keep sps?

I've asked some bros and they said if the sps are on the higher part of the tank it is adequate.

    Thanks for the help!

I'm interested in getting them as I am hoping to have a mini zoa garden for my upcoming tank!

  6. Wow..thanks lemonlemon..that is a very long list of butterflies. Will take time to check out each of them =)

lionfishall: will adult clownfish that reaches the size of 5" be eaten up as well? Is there any recommendation for porc puffer tankmates? Thank you

    sorry for super late reply...

porc puffer are best kept alone. im pretty sure clownfish no matter what size will be eaten up.

you can keep eels with them and both will be unharm. =)just not tooo small fishes.

    all the best!
