Yes, i do 3L water change once per week with DI water. Top-up is using normal dechlorinated tap water.

Those that are obstructed by live rocks there's no way to scrap off. I'm using resin to reduce algae growth.

I have a similar tank for my shrimps. That has a black backing, so I wanted this to be different.

It is not bright enough for corals but in a refugium, it should be sufficient.

I can't get rid of the algae on my rocks. The slugs will help me to do that. For the tank, I scrub it with a toothbrush every night. Takes me only 5 mins but that 5 mins every night will save a lot of trouble downstream.

I'm using a T5 light, one white one blue. Very low maintenance tank, running on a canister filter. But I still make sure that the livestocks get their nutrients such as Mg, Io, Strontium, Ca etc. Using liquid elements. I like it simple and elegant.
